Noticed prop adaptor is spinning on the shaft intermittantly.... motor is on it's way out anyway so I epoxied the shaft in and added a bearing to the top of the shaft between bell and the prop adaptor so the flat spot is still in the correct spot. |

Gentle sports flying in the wind. Crashed hard coming out of a tic toc in the dusk light and not knowing whicfh way up she was. Damage - Blades, boom, main shaft, flybar and canopy mounts. I will also change the feathering shaft and flybar carrier if they look damaged. Same with the tail shaft. Grips, main and tail, look OK but I will double check these when I take the head apart. Main shaft bearing seems fine as do the tail bearings. I'm a little worried about the servos, all of them appear to move smoothly but I will bench test them hard as they were unable to recentre as the blades were quite literally buried in the clay! Battery is mildy taco'd but seems OK. |
